Condensing boilers have flexible control options

Lochinvar

Lochinvar offers a range of gas-fired condensing boilers. There are five floor-standing models (EcoKnight, illustrated) with outputs from 41 to 141 kW and six wall-hung models (CP-M) with outputs from 60 to 180 kW. Outputs are based on flow/return temperatures of 50/30°C.

All models have fully modulating burners and stainless-steel heat exchangers. They can be supplied with concentric or twin-pipe balanced-flue assemblies and can also be conventionally flued.

Both ranges offered flexible control options, providing a cost-effective alternative to a full building-management system. Built-in sequencers can control several boilers, and full cascade management accurately matches output from multiple boilers to system requirements. Both ranges also have built-in weather compensation.

Interrogation using a laptop computer can provide historical performance data.

The ability to control up to four zones is an option with the CP-M range
