Riegens is ideal lighting treatment for hospital

Riegens
Riegens lighting has been used extensively as part of refurbishment work in this London hospital.

Riegens luminaires have been used as part of a major refurbishment at St Mary’s Hospital in London. The lighting for critical-care unit was specified by WSP Group, which chose Riegens luminaires principally. Other areas of the QEQM (Queen Elizabeth, Queen Mary) building in which this unit is situated, are also planned for refurbishment.

Concido 200 recessed downlighters have been used extensively, including in the open recovery bed areas, isolation rooms and consulting rooms to supplement the main lighting and also in some ancillary areas.

In the open recovery bed areas, isolation rooms and utility areas, louvered bespoke Aqua Mirac IP65 luminaires are the main source of lighting. Sealed units keep out dust and dirt.

For consulting rooms and offices, Codos Glide semi-recessed luminaires provide direct and indirect light with optimum light distribution on walls, ceilings and working areas.

All luminaires have DALI ballasts, and a KNX control system has been installed for lighting, blinds, audio visual and fan-coil control.
