Carrier introduces new AHUs and packaged air conditioners

Carrier’s Airostar 39SQ range of air-handling units is available in eight sizes and various configurations. Standardised components are used to achieve fast delivery times and cost efficiency.

Another new range from the company is the AiroQ packaged air-conditioning unit. Designed with the emphasis on energy efficiency, standard units have an absorption heat-recovery wheel with special characteristics to achieve a constant high sensible and latent performance. This significantly reduces heating and humidification requirements and results in considerable saving in mechanical cooling capacity.

Other features of the AiroQ range include integrated inverter-controlled compressor refrigeration section, High-efficiency inverter-controlled supply and extract fans and a full set of integrated controls with bespoke software. The built-in control panel is compatible with all BMS open communications protocols.
