Euroheat supplies range of German biomass boilers

HDG biomass boilers for a range of wood fuels are available in the UK through Euroheat.

Biomass boilers made by HDG in Germany are available in the UK through Euroheat. The range includes wood chip, shavings and pellet firing with outputs in single boilers up to 200 kW and the ability to be installed in modules.

As well as matching the boiler to the fuel and heating requirement, fuel handling and delivery into the boiler are key issues. HDG supplies hopper storage for chips, savings and pellets. There is a suction system for pellets that can move them from remote stores such as underground silos or stores built into renovated buildings.

On the system side, packages include buffer tanks and system controls. Buffer tanks ensure high efficiency from biomass boilers by enabling the long intense firing that maintains their peak output.

Euroheat’s headquarters and training centre near Hereford provides specifiers and contractors with detailed training on selection and biomass system design, backed up with technical-advice by telephone. Euroheat also has a network of specialised biomass heating contractors.
