Pegler Yorkshire takes fresh approach to thermostatic safety

Pegler Yorkshire’s Performa T555 dual-control thermostatic bath and shower mixers enable the water supply to be turned off at the body of the tap using an isolation key. There is no need to remove a bath panel. These mixers are also said to eliminate any possibility of scalding by mixing hot and cold water at a preset temperature — with a maximum of 46°C.

Applications are described as social housing, public utilities, commercial and domestic properties etc.

These mixers have a fast shut-off for maximum safety, and the T555 is said to be the only tap so far to have been awarded a pass by BuildCert for 46°C cold-water shut-off. Each tap has full traceability, right down to date and time of manufacture.
