Reliance launches new TMVs

Reliance Water Controls has introduced a new range of thermostatic mixing valves for water from showers and taps. Heatguard DC3 is TMV3 approved and complies with the NHS DO8 healthcare specification and is suited for hospital and care environments. Heatguard DC2 provides TMV2 protection for homes.

These valves are fitted near the outlets to control water temperature and protect the user from thermal shock if either the hot or cold supply fails.

Single check valves in both types of TMV prevent crossflow, and disc-type strainers protect the check cartridges from system contamination. All valves are available with 15 or 22 mm connections and with or without 4-in-one inlet isolating valves.
