Weatherite advises VT Flagship on energy efficiency

Faslane
Weatherite has been helping VT Flagship at Faslane assess opportunities for improving energy efficiency

Weatherite Building Services is playing a key role in improving energy efficiency and reducing costs at the VT Flagship facility at Faslane in Scotland, the Royal Navy’s submarine base. VT Flagship awarded Weatherite a contract to assess and report on heating/cooling and controls equipment at the Faslane site with a view to repairing and rebalancing and improving energy efficiency.

Martin Burnett, who runs the Scotland office of Weatherite Building Services, says, ‘As the facility is a secure site, we had to operate under restricted security access. The client is very pleased with the result of our assessment, and we hope to work with VT Flagship in the near future to implement some of our recommendations.’
