Kingspan

Kingspan Water has published a guide to the recently published British Standard on rainwater harvesting. It offers an overview of the principles covered in BS 8518:2009 — including design, installation, compliance, regulations and maintenance.

Gerry Quinn, product manager with Kingspan Water, says, ‘The popularity of rainwater harvesting systems has grown rapidly in the UK in recent years, largely thanks to environmental rating schemes such as BREEAM and the Code for Sustainable Homes. Most M&E consultants now see rainwater harvesting as a routine addition to their new projects.’
