Oracle spawns new recruitment consultant

A new name in technical recruitment in the south east of England is Exxell, led by well known technical specialists Peter Cooper and Nigel Rees. This new London-based company has been created out of the former south-east technical-recruitment business Oracle Global Resourcing.

Four founder directors of Oracle have stepped aside to allow ex-Reed executive Peter Cooper and Nigel Rees, a former regional manager at Morson Group to form Exxell — with the financial backing of major UK-wide recruiter Acorn.

Exxell’s 25 staff supply more than 400 temporary staff a week. Clients include EDF Energy, Bailey Maintenance, Westinghouse, Alfred McAlpine and Network Rail.

Paul Bartlett is the contact for the building-services industry (tel. 01483 654469).
