Glow-worm room thermostats give intelligent boiler control

Glow-worm’s range of ‘intelligent’ room controls is specifically designed to work with Glow-worm appliances to create advanced heating systems. The Climastat, Climapro and Climapro RF (wireless) ranges of controls are designed for use with the Flexicom, Ultracom and Ultrapower sxi boiler ranges.

Climastat is a room thermostat, and the Climapro and Climapro RF are programmable room thermostats with two channels to provide separate time control of heating and hot water.

As the temperature in the room approaches the setpoint, these thermostats begin to reduce the flow temperature of the water to the radiators to improve boiler efficiency and level of condensation.

A weather-compensation system can easily be added using an outdoor sensor.

When these controls are used as room (load) or weather compensators, a further 2% can be added to a boiler’s SEDBUK rating.
