Float valve meets air-gap requirements

float valve
Designed to meet AA and AB air-gap requirements of the Water Regulations is the KAX float valve from Keraflo.
To facilitate meeting air-gap requirements of the Water Regulations, Keraflo has introduce a new version of the delayed-action equilibrium Aylesbury flat valve. The KAX valve has an extended linkage system. The extended drop of the float allows the water level to be set in the tank while the valve is located in the raised valve chamber. The valve is initially available in sizes from 1 to 2 in to meet AA and AB air-gap requirements. The abrupt on/off and flow characteristics of Aylesbury valves reduce stagnation and stratification in water storage tanks, helping reduce the risks associated with legionella.
