Hot-water systems exploit renewable energy

Advance
Thermal stores from Advance Appliances enable renewable energy to be effectively utilised to generate hot water.

Advance Appliances has developed a range of hot-water systems that are compatible with renewable heat sources. Users and specifiers of heat pumps, solar panels, wood-burning and biomass appliances can specify Advance thermal stores which are designed to maximise the potential for such forms of renewable energy.

The most popular option is the universal thermal store, which can use up to three independently controlled heat sources to deliver mains hot water and central heating.

These thermal stores are of stainless steel for long life and have heat losses much lower than required by Part L. They have a pre-plumbed hot-water safety group for faster installation on site. Stores can be configured for open vented or sealed system use.

Unvented stainless-steel systems with coils having a larger surface area are also available. They come complete with safety kit and expansion vessel and can exploit solar and heat-pump energy.
