Kier Facilities Services opens new office in north of England

Kier Facilities Services has opened a regional office in Manchester. The move is in response to recent contract wins in the region. The company’s clients in the north of England include St Helens NHS Lift Trust, the Ministry of Justice, Oldham Schools PFI and Oldham Library PFI. Kier is also working on M&E systems at the new headquarters of Manchester Police.

The Manchester office is KFS’s fifth regional office and completes a national network to service the whole of the UK.

Managing director Colin Hale comments, ‘The work we’ve won in the north west is hugely encouraging for us. The trend isn’t confined to the north west, however. Over the last 12 month, KFS turnover has grown at an impressive 15%.’
