Lindab approach to ductwork brings health-and-safety benefits

Lindab, ductwork. spiral

Lindab’s range of Smart Tools for handling spiral ductwork has been confirmed as delivering benefits to the health and safety of people working with ductwork. These products are proven to ease strain and pain, as well as reducing installation time.

The study by the Finnish Institute of Occupational Health compared the use of Lindab Safe Click fittings and Smart Tools with conventional techniques for cutting, assembling and transporting circular ductwork.

The results showed that Safe Click put significantly less strain on workers’ backs and that knees were also much less prone to industry when Lindab spiral ductwork is cut and prepared for connection to Safe Click fittings on a specially designed cutting bench.
