Vaillant extends its range of high-efficiency boilers

Coinciding with the implementation of revised Building Regulations, Vaillant has launched a high-efficiency range of combination and system boilers. The company has also introduced its first-ever range of standalone hot-water cylinders. The ecoTEC plus boilers measure just 720 x 440 x335 mm with weights starting at 36.8 kg. All boilers are SEDBUK Band A rated (91% efficiency). They have built-in 10 litre expansion vessels, automatic 2-speed pumps and an automatic adjustable bypass. There is a built-in filling loop for combination models and syphonic condensate discharge. An LPG conversion kit is available. Modulating burners can turn down to 25% of full output. For ease of installation, ecoTEC plus coilers have pre-formed copper pipework for flow and return connections, DHW (with combination models) and pressure-relief outlet. Programmable controls for the system boilers include plug-in central-heating timers and programmable room thermostats. A plug-in weather compensator is also available. The uniSTOR range of unvented stainless-steel cylinders come in six sizes from 125 to 310 litres. These cylinders can recover in as little as 16 minutes and are complete with controls to deliver high flow rates at mains pressure and a 2-port valve to control domestic hot water. These cylinder have an auxiliary 3 kW electric immersion heater and a 25-year guarantee on the stainless-steel vessel.
