BSS Industrial takes to the seas

BSS Industrial
BSS Industrial’s second regatta was closely fought, with all 15 teams eager to cross the finishing line first.

The Wilo-sponsored boat took the top trophy in the second annual BSS Challenge Cup on the Solent, with the Polypipe Terrain boat coming in second. Over a hundred customers and suppliers were at the event, with 15 teams chartering a fleet of luxury Oceanis 37 yachts for the 2-day event, which raised £3000 for BSS Industrial’s partner charity, Rainbow Trust, which provides support to families which have a child with a life-threatening or terminal illness.

Frank Elkins, managing director of BSS Industrial, said, ‘We were fortunate enough to have fantastic weather, and this definitely helped generate a real sense of team spirit. The wind picked up in the afternoon, which resulted in some very competitive racing and an exciting finish.’
