Kingspan Koolduct scores top environmental rating
A BRE Green Guide 2008 Summary A Rating has been achieved by the Kingspan KoolDuct panels used in the fabrication of the KoolDuct ductwork systems. This A rating was awarded by BRE Global, which used its 2008 Environmental Profiles Methodology to assess the environmental impacts of the product across its entire life cycle. The rating system used such data to classify performance in a number of key areas and awards a summary rating on a scale from E up to A+. The findings show that the environmental impact of Kingspan KoolDuct is nearly 66% lower than galavanised sheet-steel ducting with rock-mineral-fibre insulation.
