Sprinkler system is quick and easy to install

Victaulic, Aquaflex sprinkler system

Victaulic’s Aquaflex range of sprinkler fittings uses flexible couplings to the fixed pipework to reduce installation time. These stainless-steel sprinkler fittings are suitable for suspended and hard ceilings and for round or square ductwork to provide fire protection where combustible gases may be present.

Braided and unbraided fittings are available, depending on region and application.

The range is preassembled and consists of a flexible stainless-steel hose 790 to 1830 mm long, a reducer for connecting the sprinkler and a branch nipple for attachment to the piping system. A versatile and time-saving installation-ready bracket is also included when ordered as a kit.

The bracket (illustrated) provides easy 3-dimensional positioning of the sprinkler and secure mounting to the ceiling grid without tools, so the sprinkler can easily be positioned in the centre of the tile.

The adjustable open-gate centre bracket saves time during installation by enabling easy pressure testing of the system and final placement of the sprinkler after the ceiling grid has been installed.
