CTC heat pumps award MCS accreditation

CTC, MCS, heat pumps

CTC has been awarded Microgeneration Certification Scheme (MCS) approval for its EcoAir range of air-to-water heat pumps. The products that are now BRE Global Listed for the MCS include units from 5 to 20 kW for commercial and domestic applications.

EcoAir heat pumps have large evaporators to maximise operating efficiency and minimise defrost cycles. The larger units can provide flow temperatures up to 65°C.

These heat pumps can be teamed up with CTC’s EcoEl thermal store to provide a domestic heating system and instant hot water. For larger projects, up to three heat pumps can be connected in parallel using the EcoLogic EXT, which provides weather-compensated control.
