Industrial-strength lighting ballasts

Ballast
Designed for long life and to prolong the life of the lamps they serve, TridonicAtco’s PC Industry electronic lighting-control gear.
TridonicAtco’s PC Industry range of electronic lighting-control gear is designed for use with T5 and T8 fluorescent lamps in industrial environments. These robust ballasts have an operational life of up to 100 000 h at up to 60°C, designed to match the expected life of the luminaires they are installed in. In providing ongoing lamp maintenance and protection, the ballasts prolong lamp life — extending relamping cycles and reducing maintenance costs. They can withstand voltage peaks of up to 4 kV. Lamps are switched off if the voltage is below 150 V to prevent damage. Above 300 V, lights are made to flash, indicating that the mains should be shut off and the problem rectified.
