Glasgow hospital gets royal treatment from Grundfos

Grundfos, pump

As part of a £3.5 million infrastructure of Glasgow Royal Infirmary, Grundfos Pumps worked with local consultant Harley Haddow and contractor Taylor & Fraser to provide an improved M&E solution. The upgrades included revamping the hot-water solution to include energy-efficient A-rated Magna circulators and variable-speed twin-head TPED centrifugal pumps.

There has been a hospital on this site for over 200 years.

Ensuring that the water supply is constantly available to meet fluctuating needs are six bespoke Hydro booster sets.

The recent refurbishment will help the hospital to keep pace with changing demands for many years to come.
