Heat-pump technology for commercial renewable heating

Mitsubishi Electric has developed a new web site to highlight the benefits is its range of renewable-energy products for commercial heating. It give details of the company’s range of air-source and ground-source heat-pump boilers to supply hot water and heating via a ducted or wet system. The systems are based on VRF (variable-refrigerant-flow) technology taken from the air-conditioning industry and are designed to provide low-carbon heating that can replace or work alongside existing heating systems.

These systems are designed for heating only so that they qualify as renewable energy; heat-pump air-conditioning systems are not defined as renewable energy by the European Union and UK Government.
