RES adds solar thermal to its renewable energy offering

RES has acquired the remaining share capital of Future Heating, a market leader in commercial and large-scale solar-thermal systems. RES previously held a minority stake in the company. All staff of Future Heating will be retained, and the company will move from Enfield to RES’s offices in Kings Langley.

The acquisition adds to RES’s renewable-energy offering through its subsidiary companies. They are PV Systems (solar PV), biomass boilers (Wood Energy) and ground-source heat pumps (Earth Energy).
