LDA helps council develop energy vision for the future

LDA Design, consultant
An energy vision for the future is being developed by LDA Design for Cheshire East Council.

LDA Design is working on an extensive climate-change and sustainable-energy planning study for Cheshire East Council to identify renewable and low-carbon energy opportunities and prepare a project-delivery action plan for future energy development. The study will map energy opportunities and develop an energy-planning resource for the council and potential developers of energy projects. It will identify deliverable energy projects and the initiatives needed to support implementation, including planning policies.

Councillor David Brown said, ‘Cheshire East is keen to develop opportunities for the development of renewable energy in conjunction with proposals for new development that will be identified in the new local development framework. This study will give us an in-depth understanding of the potential available.’
