SE Controls secures CHAS accreditation

SE Controls, CHAS

SE Controls, which specialises in natural-ventilation and smoke-control solutions, has gained CHAS (Contractors Health & Safety Assessment Scheme) accreditation. CHAS is establishing itself as a leading health-and-safety pre-qualification scheme in the UK and caters for any company working within or around the construction supply chain.

By standardising the first stage of the CDM core criteria, health and safety, the scheme saves time and resources when main contractors are appointing specialist sub-contractors. The assessment and approval process is carried out by SSIP-appointed auditors who are approved by the Health & Safety Executive.
