Wiring accessories and the 17th Edition

Hager, wiring accessories

Hager has produced guidance about how the 17th edition of the Wiring Regulations and Building Regulations affect the instillation of wiring accessories. There is a lot of practical detail covering everything from connections for lighting circuits to high protective-conductor currents.

Other subjects in this 16-page technical guide include selection and erection, light switches and load type, requirements for cooker connections, fused connection units, use of isolation switches, requirements for TV systems and Part M of the Building Regulations.

The guide can be downloaded from Hager’s web site, and a hard copy is available.
