Renewable facts on film

Dimplex, heat pump, renewable energy

A short documentary-style film exploring the use of renewable-energy technologies in all types of buildings has been produced by Dimplex. Called ‘Living and working’, the film focuses on a wide variety of different projects where heat pumps, solar thermal and solar PV are in use.

The film examines the different challenges faced by specifiers and end users in maximising energy savings in public and private buildings — including an RNLI lifeboat station, a Hertfordshire school, the historic Castle Howard (pictured) and McCarthy & Stone retirement apartments. It includes interviews with real users and the issues they had to resolve with their particular project.

You can watch the film on the Dimplex web site and the Dimplex YouTube channel. A free DVD is also available.
