Climaveneta introduces compact liquid chillers

Climaveneta, chillers

The NX range of scroll-compressor liquid chillers from Climaveneta UK is described as combining excellent energy efficiency with a compact design and choice of models for a range of applications. They include options with shell-and-tube or plate heat exchangers as well as low-noise or super-low-noise versions and units with partial heat recovery. Cooling capacities range from 159 to 352 kW.

Models with shell-and-tube heat exchangers are available as K versions with standard efficiency or CA versions with Eurovent Class A energy rating (measured in compliance with EN 14511) and electronic expansion valves to provide optimum efficiency at variable loads.

NX Chillers with partial heat recovery have a refrigerant/water heat exchanger added to the gas discharge line on every refrigerant line to recover heat for producing hot water at medium to high temperatures.

All models have built-in hydronic units and use micro-channel aluminium condenser coils to minimise refrigerant volumes.

Baxi research suggests schools strongly support heat decarbonisation

A survey conducted by Baxi of 200 state school estates managers, consultant engineers and M&E contractors has found that while enthusiasm for Net Zero and support for low carbon heating systems in schools is thriving, persistent barriers remain.
