Renewables Roadshow wins industry award

Renewable energy, Renewables Roadshow

The Renewables Roadshow, which won the ’Best launch show’ category in the recent ‘Exhibition News Awards’, takes to the road again this Autumn with visits to six venues from 13 September to 3 October. The show was up against established multi-national businesses, and its owner, Dan Caesar, expressed his surprise: ‘The businesses we were up against have hundreds of staff and multi-million turnovers, so we were billing it as David versus Goliath. As you can imagine, we were absolutely delighted to win.’

The award organisers commented: ‘The Renewables Roadshow had a stellar entry that really resonated with the judges and showed innovation and entrepreneurialism. It’s really good to see a smaller organiser showing the big guys how it’s done.’

Venues for 2012 are as follows.

13 Sept. Ricoh Arena, Coventry

18 Sept. Westpoint Arena, Exeter

20 Sept. International Centre, Harrogate

26 Sept. SECC, Glasgow

28 Sept. Event City, Manchester

3 Oct. Wembley Stadium, London
