Free service for recycling lamps

Recolight, the specialist WEEE compliance scheme for lamps, has lowered the threshold for free lamp recycling. Businesses previously had to collect 1000 lamps every three months to receive a free collection service. That requirement has been reduced to 1000 lamps every six months.

The service is available to electrical contractors, facilities managers and other electrical business that collect smaller quantities of lamps less frequently.

There is a new and improved online booking system for requesting a free collection. The service includes the full provision of consignment notes for duty-of-care purposes and access to fully accredited suppliers.
