LG’s new-generation VRF

LG, air conditioning, VRF

LG’s Multi V III range of VRF air-conditioning products can be used to create systems with up to 64 indoor units with a piping length of up to 1000 m. Outdoor units have capacities of 20 to 80 hp. Features to reduce operating noise include a compressor with BLDC motors, low-noise fan motors and a newly developed shroud shape.

Energy efficiency is boosted by LG’s BLDC V-scroll inverter compressor with high-pressure oil-return technology. COPs of 4.58 can be achieved for heating and 4.27 for cooling, improvements of 11 and 25%, respectively, over LG’s previous models with AC motors.

Another advanced feature is the continuous heating to maintain indoor temperature with minimal heat loss when defrosting the outdoor unit.

Since Multi V III outdoor units have fans with high static pressure (80 Pa), they can be installed inside the building using an air duct. Depending on the building structure, the piping length can be reduced by installing the outdoor unit in the machine room.
