MHIAE launches future-ready ZT RAC units for summer 2026

Mitsubishi Heavy Industries Air Conditioning Europe has introduced its next-generation residential air conditioning range, the ZT Series.

Building on the proven performance of the ZS Series, the ZT range has been reengineered with a refined design to deliver higher energy efficiency, simplified installation and servicing, and low-noise operation.

The indoor units will be available in three elegant colour options, while the outdoor units will come in two finishes, including the highly sought-after jet black. Mass production of the ZT is scheduled for December 2025, with availability for installation in Summer 2026 projects.

The ZT indoor units incorporate a newly designed heat exchanger, a high-efficiency fan motor, and an enlarged fan blower diameter, achieving better airflow to deliver a long reach of up to 11m. In addition, the ZT Series offers two silent operation modes – Silent and Ultra Silent. In Ultra Silent mode, sound levels are reduced by up to 9dB, achieving noise levels as low as 36dB(A) while still maintaining the unit’s powerful performance.
