Hager has published a 20-page guide to surge protection in electrical systems. It details the risks from an electrical surge, the AQ criteria method for a risk assessment, selecting the devices, installation, cascading devices to create an SPD system and inspection and testing.

Chris Howells, product manager for Hager explains, ‘Amendment 1 has increased the demand for surge protection in commercial and domestic premises.’
