KNX flush-mounted sensors indicate air quality

KNX, sensor, air quality, Siemens Building Technologies

Siemens Building Technologies has added KNX-compliant flush-mount models to its Symaro sensor line. In addition to measuring the temperature, humidity and air quality, these communications-enabled sensors can also control these parameters, as well as switch lights on and off and control sun protection systems. The devices support a wide variety of configuration options and can be customized to each specific application.

Symaro flush-mount sensors are particularly compact and can be installed in all types of commercially available recessed conduit boxes. The front plate has an integrated LED display which uses three colours to signal the current air quality in the room, indicating when it is time to add fresh air to the room.
