MHS Boilers introduces range of CHP units

MHS Boilers, CHP, space heating

MHS Boilers has launched a range of combined-heat-and-power (CHP) units. The Energator range consists of six gas-fuelled units and six oil-fuelled units with electrical outputs up to 49 kW and heat outputs of up to 90 kW. They use low-revving (1500 rev/min) multi-cylinder industrial engines and can achieve up to 95.9% net efficiency.

All models have total hydraulic separation to protect the engine cooling system from any contaminants or debris in the system.

Energator CHP units are delivered assembled in a soundproofed enclosure comprising a double-wall construction around a robust steel frame. They are factory pre-tested and filled with oil and coolant.

Other features include starting from the mains supply, which eliminates the need for a battery, 2-stage operation between 60 and 100%, and asynchronous generators for long-term reliable operation.
