CP adds wireless capability to lighting control

CP Electronics, lighting control, BMS, BEMS

CP Electronics offers a gateway to provide a link between its Rapid lighting-control system and its An-10 wireless system. The Rapid — An-10 gateway incorporates a radio transceiver for 2-way communication between an An-10 system and a CAN port, for communication link with the Rapid system. A gateway can be configured using CP’s infra-red handset, with the settings simply uploaded to a PC program via an Excel spreadsheet.

The bus-based Rapid lighting-control system offers flexibility through its modular nature. Specifiers can choose from a wide range of components to tailor a system for the requirements of each project.

The An-10 wireless system makes it easier to include lighting control in new installations and to retrofit new or additional control functionality to existing systems.

The Rapid — An-10 gateway is ideal for large open-plan offices using Rapid LCM/DALI gateway control where other areas, such as conference/meeting rooms or atrium areas, require more sophisticated architectural scene control.
