Legrand contributes to style for Sleeperz hotel

Legrand, wiring accessories
Legrand’s Synergy wiring accessories are just one of the design features of the new Sleeperz hotel in Newcastle upon Tyne.

Decorative wiring accessories from Legrand’s Synergy range help contribute to the style of a new boutique/budget hotel in Newcastle upon Tyne. Sleeperz is a 98-bedroom glass-fronted hotel near the main railway station. It offers modern architectural design teamed with bold contemporary interiors and an array of features normally associated with far more expensive hotels.

Javeed Anwar, head of marketing and sales for Sleeperz Hotels, explains, ‘We offer budget prices in a location that oozes style, something that is achieved by putting every single aspect of the hotel under the interior-design microscope.’

Legrand’s brushed-steel Traditional Synergy wiring accessories were selected for their aesthetic appeal and used throughout the hotel.

‘We did have another manufacturer’s products in mind, but once we saw Synergy, we immediately changed our thinking. The range had everything we were looking for — and more.’

The full specification comprised 1-, 2- and 3-gang switches, 1-gang switched and unswitched sockets, double and single data sockets, and telephone and TV sockets. Finishes included both white and decorative.
