Major refurbishment in London benefits from Ability fan-coil units

Ability Projects has supplied nearly a thousand fan-coil units for the air-conditioning in Ashdown House, 123 Victoria Street in London as part of a comprehensive £155 million refurbishment. The 4-pipe Apollo 190 EC/DC units are located in ceilings throughout the 11 floors of this building, which has 18 500 m2 of offices and 3000 m2 of retail capacity at street level.

All the units were supplied complete with Delta BMS controllers and return-air discharge sensors with Marflow valve assemblies (4-pipe units only), comprising PICC combined commissioning and control valve, isolating valve, venturi flow-measurement device and flushing bypass.

The project has achieved a BREEAM office fit-out rating of ‘Very good’.
