Helvar introduces 70 W LED lighting drivers

Helvar, lighting, LED driver

Following the success of its 30 W drivers for LED lighting, Helvar has introduced 70 W LED drivers. The first 70 W drivers available are linear-style, single-channel drivers in constant-current and DALI dimmable versions. They are ideally suited for linear and 600 mm-square luminaires in commercial applications. These drivers have a simple resistor input, allowing manual adjustment of the output drive current according to LED load.

The dimmable DALI versions can dim down to 1% of full output.

Later this year will see the launch of a linear, twin-channel 2x25 W LED driver with the potential for controlling two different channels.

Also to be launched later this year is a compact single-channel LED driver that can be installed outside the luminaire — in high-bay applications, for example.
