Xpelair launches compact MVHR

Presented as one of the smallest and most energy-efficient MVHR (mechanical ventilation with heat recovery) solutions on the market, Xpelair’s XCell Compact XR features EC motors, backward-curved impeller and the ability to recover 91% of heat from extracted air. It is listed in SAP Appendix Q and is ESP Best Practice compliant.

These units can be installed in ceiling and loft voids.

Sensor options include PIR controls, air-quality sensors and remote humidity sensors with variable humidity band speed control to help ensure the right level of ventilation and moisture control at all times.

Its versatile design makes it suitable for a number of applications, including 2- and 3-bedroom houses, apartments and light commercial properties.
