Schwank app shows benefits of radiant heating

Schwank, radiant heating, space heating

Schwank, which specialises in infra-red radiant heating has developed a free app to highlight the potential savings of this form of heating. It is based on the practical and easy-to-use energy calculator at the company’s web site and available for Android and iPhone operating systems.

This app takes the user through a series of logical steps to demonstrate the savings that can be achieved for new build and retrofit. Schwank’s experience is that energy-cost savings of 30 to 50% can be achieved by changing from conventional heating to Schwank infra-red heaters.

The calculation takes into account size of building and age, desired temperature, number of working hours and current gas price. Also calculated are the carbon savings that can be achieved.
