Bilco smoke vents carry CE mark

Bilco, smoke vent

Bilco’s new generation of smoke vents now carries the CE mark, denoting compliance with the Construction Products Regulation under harmonised European Standard EN 12101-2. To achieve CE compliance, Bilco added wind deflectors to its smoke vents, enabling the size to be kept down while guaranteeing the required free aerodynamic area to disperse smoke from the building.

The company’s smoke-vent range has been thoroughly tested by a third-party ‘notified body across a wide range of characteristics.
