Controller for biomass boilers is BMS friendly

BMS, BEMS, Rural Energy, biomass, renewable energy

Rural Energy now offers sophisticated control for its Herz wood-pellet and wood-chip boilers up to 300 kW. The Herz T-Control provides an interactive way of managing the functionality of biomass boilers and is operated using a touchscreen. T-Control enables a biomass system to be controlled from anywhere, using an app for remote PCs, tablets and mobiles.

The user can control buffer management, water temperatures, on/off times and the supply of domestic hot water. Multiple heating circuits can be controlled, as well as any solar-thermal circuits and frost protection.

The system is compatible with the Modbus protocol, so it can be linked to a building-management system.

The interactive screen displays 3D images to give the user an insight into the heart of biomass boilers.
