Programmer helps landlords meet statutory obligations

A range of heating controls for tenanted properties has features to help landlords and tenants know that a boiler service is due. Drayton’s LPSi allows landlords to set service intervals and alert tenants when a service is due. As a service date approaches, the LPSi control panel will flash and display messages to let a tenant know to contact their landlord or local authority. If a service is overdue, a permanent message is displayed, and an audible alarm is sounded every 24 hours. To encourage tenants to take notice, heating and hot water will be provided for only the first 15 min of every programmed hour. Once a service has been completed, the LPSi is easily reset using a separate unit.
