Ridi reduces power consumption of LED luminaires by a third

Ridi, lighitng, luminaire, LED

Following the expansion of its factory in Germany to produce LED boards, Ridi has reduced the power consumption of its EBRME-LED 600 x 600 luminaires from 68 to 45 W, making them a viable replacement for T5 schemes. The range includes a variety of sizes and finished, including a tunable option that balances colour temperatures (2700/6500 K).

These luminaires also have an astronomical clock and a new micro-prismatic for the fixed-light versions.

The fixed-light 45 W luminaires offer a lighting output in excess of 95 lm/W.

The tunable versions balance two sets of LEDs with different colour temperatures. In areas such as classrooms and call centres, these two light sources balance cool and warm light to replicate the light pattern of the Sun throughout the day — controlled by the astronomical clock. This variation of colour temperature is proven to assist with concentration and productivity.
