Trane introduces chiller buyback programme

Trane, chiller, replacement

Trane has introduced a buyback programme for chillers when they are written off or replaced. This programme is designed to support the process of replacing a chiller by providing single-source responsibility for the customer’s maximum convenience and minimum disruption during transition.

Through the chiller buyback programme, Trane provides customers with a detailed decommissioning plan. The equipment meant for replacement or disposal is assessed to determine its condition and to derive the asset value. The plan includes an estimate to cover the removal of the decommissioned equipment.
