Verbatim’s 10 W Classic A LED retrofit light bulb has come out as one of the most reliable and highest-performing light bulbs in the Which? 2013 light-bulb survey. The survey of 55 light bulb included CFLs, halogens and LED lamps. The survey found the light output to be 906 lm, against a claimed performance of 820 lm.

The Which? team commented: ‘One of the brightest LEDs on the market, this Verbatim bulb is actually brighter than it says on the box. Scoring top marks for efficiency and durability, it has a claimed life expectancy of 30 000 h — that’s around 30 years if used for a couple of hours a day.’
