Andrews Sykes meets BBC cooling needs

As part of the relocation of 750 BBC staff, equipment and assets from Pebble Mill to a predominantly open-plant environment at the Mailbox in the heart of Birmingham, Andrews Sykes provided three 500 kW chillers to meet the cooling needs of the building during fit-out. The building contractor was already using other equipment from Andrews Sykes, so an enquiry was made about a solution for temporary chiller capacity. After a brief assessment of requirements by Andrews Sykes, three 500 kW chillers were installed outside at the rear of the building and connected to the main chilled-water supply using wire-armoured pipe.
