High-power recessed commercial air curtains

Dimplex, air curtain, space heating

Dimplex has improved its DAB range of recessed air curtains to make them quicker to install, easier to maintain and save energy. They are available in lengths of 1, 1.5 and 2 m with high-output airstreams for entrances up to 4 m high. Heating can be by electricity or water. Ambient air can be circulated, and there are cold-store models.

For the first time, this range of high-power models offers dedicated recessed units, rather than standard units with recessing kits.

A hinged grille replaces removable sections for faster installation and ease of maintenance. Linear vanes conceal the inside of the unit when viewed from below.

The DAB recessed range comes with integral electronic controls for easy integration with a BMS. All models are compatible with a range of additional controls, including motion sensors and run-back timers for maximum energy savings. They offer full-heat, half-heat and fan-only settings. When used with compatible door sensors, electronic fan over-run control can be provided.
