BBES wins major London refurbishment project

BBES

Balfour Beatty Engineering Services is responsible for the £11.8 million M&E contract to design, build and install services for the refurbishment of the Alphabeta Building (formerly known as Triton Court) in London’s Finsbury Square. The building is set to become a new centre for some of London’s most progressive companies.

The contract involves a full update of power, lighting, fire alarms, air, data and security systems to category A standard. High ceilings will provide a sense of space and functionality for occupants.

BBES will create high-quality pre-checked M&E systems at its Modular Systems+ facility in Wednesbury to dramatically reduce the cost and time taken to install the complex systems required, compared to traditional on-site assembly methods.

The contract was awarded by Galliford Try, with which BBES has worked on the Brigend Parc Prison project.
